The Intermediary Between All Polarities

We are the intermediary between all polarities. The center of every circumference. Past and future. Sun and moon. Yin and yang.

The true self sits peacefully in the center — of countless different polarities — the center of a sphere. Yet, we’re told our lives should be linear. There is a path to follow. It goes straight. Just keep walking.

I like to believe the path is more of a sphere than a straight line. We spend our lives experiencing the polarities of life. Joy and suffering. Love and heartbreak. Birth and death. The true self sits in the collective rhythm of all things. Not in each thing itself.

Nature’s intelligence lies in its patterns; not in the perceiver of those patterns.

The other day, I was feeling off. A stranger asked me “how are you doing?” I said “I’m aight, you?” He replied “man it’s a blessing to be alive today.” Damn — I felt that. A new perspective. A new polarity. The same moment through a new lens.

Nature always brings us back to the center. Many people believe birth leads to death which leads to rebirth. Others believe the soul returns to its original state when the body dies.

A spherical being in a spherical world. Subject to nature’s patterns, but free to express and create within those confines. We, too, are a pattern of nature. There is wisdom in our bones. Wisdom in our breath.

An inhale occurs when the lungs expand in all directions. Peace occurs when compassion expands in all directions. In the center of this expansion is the true self, sitting peacefully, where it has always sat.
