Yoga Summer School
A 50 Hour Training through the Timeline of Yoga
July 12-18, 2026 | Antigua Guatemala
Five teachers. Five lineages. Fifty training hours. One immersive week to explore Yoga from its ancient roots to its modern expression.
This is not a normal training. Think of it like a Yoga summer camp. School is in session during the day, and at night we sit by the fire and tell stories. Over 7 days, youāll experience 5 distinct styles of yoga in great depth. Weāll work hard, yes, but itās also designed to feel like recess for your soul. Youāll meet classmates and camp counselors from around the world and expand your yoga community.
As you gain fluency in new styles of yoga, youāll see how expanding your yoga fluency is like learning a new language. Itās like finally understanding an inside joke, and seeing a new world of history, sensation, tradition, and paths to liberation unfold. And some things, once seen, can never be forgotten.
Understanding the doās and donāts of different traditions, where they overlap, and where they contradict one another will give you more confidence in your own teaching style. It inevitably adds new flavor to your practice and it becomes the ultimate remix for your teaching toolbox. Yoga Summer School is about learning something new, being slightly uncomfortable, and having a beginnerās mind like you were a kid heading off to your first summer camp.
If youāre looking to fully immerse yourself in 5 different lineages of yoga in one week, this training is for you. All levels are welcome. You donāt have to be a teacher, but this week will count for 50 CEUs with Yoga Alliance. Curious Yogis, see you in class.

Our Home for the Week:
Founded in 2005 by a young couple with big dreams, Earth Lodge was the first commercial property to be built on this mountain. The original owners put untold amounts of sweat and love into building the property, beginning by forging a road and engineering basic necessities like water and power. The farm resort was built cabin by cabin, avocado tree by avocado tree, continuously evolving into āthat famous treehouse resortā in the not-so-far mountains just outside of Antigua Guatemala.
Careful attention is given to every detail in order to provide the perfect setting for enjoying the beautiful tropical surroundings of our expansive mountain property; from the clean modern decor locally sourced for the renovated cabins, spa, and lodge, to the organic and eco-friendly soaps and bath products, which are safe and friendly for our greywater system which cycles the water into the surrounding plant life and finca.
The organic avocado farm at Earth Lodge is home to over 350 organic Haas avocado trees, which are fed compost from the kitchen ā one of the many regenerative practices to live in harmony with the land. Guests can take a tour of the avocado farm or simply enjoy the delicious avocados in one of the many dishes featuring this ingredient on our menu.
Earth Lodge is 20 minutes from downtown Antigua and 1.5 hours from GUA Airport.

Getting there:
Each guest is responsible for making their way to the retreat center on August 15, but Iām happy to help! The closest airports are Brindisi (BDS) which is ~40 minutes away, and Bari (BRI) which is ~60 minutes away. Renting a car from either of these airports is relatively inexpensive, and provides you great freedom to explore the surrounding countryside, local historical towns, and beaches. For those who prefer not to rent a car, I can help coordinate shuttles, or you can book a ride using an app such as FreeNow (similar to Uber). Contact me with any questions!
